People in Swindon can now buy fresh Christmas wreaths made by disabled people looking to move into local employment.
The wreaths have been made from reusable and recyclable materials in a choice of three festive colours. All are handmade by trainees on the Energy2work project funded by the European Social Fund and the Learning and Skills Council.
Part of Swindon Borough Council, Energy2work offers employment and training opportunities to local disabled people, people with health conditions and people with learning difficulties who are looking to move into employment.
Ann King, Supported Employment Project Manager said, “Lots of hard work and patience has gone into making these wreaths and they look stunning.”
