ESF helps disabled people with training and jobs

Jonathan Shaw MP, the Minister for Disabled People, saw at first hand how ESF funding is helping deaf people when he visited Dering Employment Services Ltd in Croydon on 21 October 2008. Dering is leading two new ESF projects which started in summer 2008:

Deaf Stepping Stones is designing personalised services to help 150 deaf Londoners improve their skills and move towards sustainable employment.

Coachability aims to help 2,500 long term unemployed disabled people in the South East qualify as sports coaches as a step towards work in the fitness industry.
